About Goldstar Trade Frames Ltd

We are a family run business and have been in the industry for over 25 years, so we have a wide knowledge of products and technical know-how.

Our aim is to provide the highest quality products at competitive prices. All our in-house products are manufactured using Selecta Advance 70 profile which is 5 chambered, is thermally efficient and lead free. It also meets or exceeds required British standards.

Our premises has its own fully equipped work shop which means that most of our products are manufactured on-site, and customers are always welcome to drop in to see how they are made and the finished products.

Our staff are all trained to the highest standard, with some of them having worked for the company for over 15years.

Why Choose PVC-u?

Most people are familiar with the benefits that PVC-u brings to the home improvement market. PVC-u is impermeable to water, our top quality products eliminate the problems of draughts and leaks caused when wood swells, shrink and warps.

All PVC-u products are not the same, though superficially it may seem that way. The system we use to manufacture our high quality replacement windows, doors and conservatories is designed by Selecta.

Along with durability, extra warmth, sound proofing, increased security and low maintenance, our products are available in different sizes and styles to suit your individual home, all which meet or exceed the necessary British Standards.

Sculptured

The sculptured option from gives a more curvaceous, traditional decorative finish to your window.

Chamfered

The chamfered option creates a symmetrical, contemporary, straight-edged style and might be considered a more modern look.

Frame Profiles

Choose between the classically elegant Sculptured frame finish or the clean lines of Chamfered. As always with Goldstar Tradeframes it’s about choice. You can have fully Sculptured or fully Chamfered, frames and beads, or mix the two – chamfered frames with sculptured beads.

Goldstar – Energy Ratings

As from October 2010 windows will have to carry an energy rating label, similar to those seen on fridges. This means that you as a consumer can make an informed decision.

Energy efficiency is becoming increasingly more important in this world of rising fuel costs so it is important that you make the right decision when it comes to energy rated windows. Energy efficient windows can help you save money on household bills and save the planet.

At Goldstar we will be manufacturing both A rated and C rated windows, in order to offer our customers a choice, as the price is related to the efficiency. These ratings are only available to windows that are bought as complete units i.e. fully fabricated and glazed.

Advance 70 – The Complete Window and Door System

With the Advance 70 System, it is not only certified and tested with PAS 24 and Secured by Design options, but it also allows us to provide a comprehensive range of quality, thermally efficient and stylish window and door solutions to the retail and commercial market.

From casement, bay, bow, French, EASi-FOLD and tilt and turn windows through to the on trend flush sash window, which can be fabricated with the existing 70mm frame or encased within the all new 80mm 8 chamber traditional frame for that authentic timber look.
